A GREAT place, for a day out.

Make sure you book your tickets, in advance, as it gets very very busy !!

As a wheelchair user I found no obstacles, most of the area is flat  (except for the approach to “Essence” and “The Bourneville Experience” which is along a tarmac slope – small amount of assistance needed).

The tour is flat, with a lift, to the second floor (the packaging plant is viewed by going up a  staircase , but a waiting space for wheelchairs or pushchairs is provided). One part you can have a go at writing your name in chocolate.

On “Cadabra” there is a wheelchair accessible ride, round the exhibition ( where they take your photo).

The Cadbury Shop, is where you can buy souvenirs, of your visit and purchase anything “chocoltey” .
Next is the CAFÉ, where you can relax, with a drink or a meal (prices are not bad, for a tourist attraction).

Cadbury World has gone on to become one of Birmingham's largest leisure appeals - welcoming over 500,000 visitors each year, and delivering a respected education programme. Whilst not a factory tour, Cadbury World offers its visitors the occasion to explore and discover chocolate's history, to learn about the origins and story of the Cadbury business - one of the world's largest confectionery manufacturers
