I wondered if anyone can help me. I am going to Trou d'Eau Douce for the first two wweks of May, and I am looking for advice/recommendations and contact details for Dive Centres in the area.

Any information would really be appreciated, as I am having great difficulty in tracking down information through the internet. Information regarding local dive centres, how they operate, and an indication of costs would be really useful.

Thanks in anticipation

Regards

Alan

I don't have idea regarding your stay and budget. But you can browse for Le Surcouf Village Hotel, Hotel Bougainville, Silver Beach Hotel and Le Tropical Hotel which are very famous at Mauritius.

Thanks John

It was actually last year that I went, and we stayed at Silver Beach which is a great little hotel - no dive centre though. Ended up using a small centre up the coast a little, run by a nice guy called Dave. Problme ws that at the time of year that we went the East coast is really choppy - we drove over to the West coast for several days as the conditions were much better

Mauritius lies in the Indian Ocean and provides wonderful scenery as you drive your hire car around the island. It's really a wonderful experience driving along the coast.

One of the most popular places to visit in Mauritius is Jardin des Pamplemousses. Off the east coast of Mauritius is the popular and beautiful island of Isle Aux Cerfs. Mauritius is infact a place for real sea, sand and sun.
