I didnt realise until a while ago, that you dont need a passport to go to Jersey from the UK - we havent got passports and they are quite costly. Ive been looking on ww.gojersey.co.uk Has anyone used this company? their prices seem good and I really like the look of the Merton Hotel - which has a Flowrider   Also, anyone ever been to the Merton or can recommend a good hotel?

Hi,

Jersey is part of the Crown dependency, and you only need your ID to go there, even European people don't need a passport to get there!
i've been there this summer, but unfortunately it was cloudy and foggy, and by the time it became sunnier, it was time for us to leave! but as far as i have seen, it's a very nice island and i'll definitely go back there!
so if you are thinking of going there, don't think twice, just go!
