I would like to know what is the best time of the year to visit Austria? What are some hotels I could stay at with pretty good rates and comfort?

Austria can be visited throughout the year. November–April is the ideal time to indulge in winter sports and Christmas festivities, while in the summer months, various events like the Salzburg festival can be enjoyed.

Well.. you can visit now that's during Feb to Mar. This is the best time and for hotels check online. This is the best way.
