Cadbury World UK http://www.cadburyworld.co.uk Visited 1-3-09 A GREAT place, for a day out. Make sure you book your tickets, in advance, as it gets very very busy !! As a wheelchair user I found no obstacles, most of the area is flat (except for the approach to “Essence” and “The Bourneville Experience” which is along a tarmac slope – small amount of assistance needed). The tour is flat, with a lift, to the second floor (the packaging plant is viewed by going up a staircase , but a waiting space for wheelchairs or pushchairs is provided). One part you can have a go at writing your name in chocolate. On “Cadabra” there is a wheelchair accessible ride, round the exhibition ( where they take your photo). The Cadbury Shop, is where you can buy souvenirs, of your visit and purchase anything “chocoltey” . Next is the CAFÉ, where you can relax, with a drink or a meal (prices are not bad, for a tourist attraction).
